Our Year 10 Drama class at Hamilton Boys’ High School is entering the 2009 New Zealand Stage Challenge. We are basing our idea on a Charlie Chaplin movie called “The Floorwalker”, in which Charlie goes to a department store and gets caught up in a robbery where a Charlie lookalike is the bad guys and Charlie gets blamed for the crime. However we are putting our own twist to the story (which I can’t tell you at the moment, its a secret you see). I am helping to script the performance as well as being one of the music composers and developers. We will be performing in Hamilton sometime in June so it would be great to have support (I’ll post the actual dates) although you have to buy tickets before hand. I will be posting every now and again to let you know whats happening. But for now I’ve got a lot of work to do.
